Description
Photo from my hiking tour up to the Sulzenauferner (2.500m) in the Stubaier Alpen, Tyrol, Austria.
Starting at the Grawa Alm (1.530m) heading up along the "Wilde Wasser Weg" to the Sulzenaualm (1.872m) an then onwards to the Sulzenauhütte (2.191m).
From the Sulzenauhütte up to the so called Blaue Lacke, a mountain lake at 2.290m.
Then, onwards to the Sulzenauferner (2.500m), one of the many glaciers in this area.
As I forgot my Skipass/1-year-ticket I didn't continue to the Stuabier Glacier Skiing area, which is just behind the mountains near the Sulzenauferner.
So I went the same way back...altogether 18km and 1.030m hiking up and carrying my whole photo equipment...
