What a beautiful day it was today - so I decided to go skiing together with my family and simply enjoy the great weather.

We went to the Schlick2000 skiing area of Fulpmes, some 25min from Innsbruck.

The skiing area is not really big, but for me it offers one of the best views in the whole area - a look at the so called Kalkkögel. To me these mountains just look unsurmountable, even though there a couple of hiking trails which bring you to the other side.

At the moment, this "mountain paradise" is in dager, however, as there a plans to build a cable car to the top and to the other side - the Axamer Lizum, another siiking area very close to Innsbruck.

I really hope that this project will fail - it would be a great loss, if this view is disturbed by cable car constructions....
